The lovely village of Garvald, with its red sandstone buildings, nestling at the base of the Lammermuir Hills and on the Hillfoots Trail, is a great place to explore, It can be found in the attractive county of East Lothian, just six miles from the town of Haddington and only a 30 minute drive from Edinburgh.

East Lothian’s unique microclimate means it benefits from more sunshine than most other places in Scotland. There's plenty to see; beautiul scenery, golden sandy beaches, castles, pretty villages and seaside towns. For the more active there are golf courses, cycling and rambling routes, horse riding, shooting, fishing and sailing and much more.
